click The Duku machete features a full tang 15.5″ 1075 high carbon steel blade. Every edge is hand finished and polished to a razor sharpness. The natural finish of the blade gives the Duku a rustic & earthy feel. The hardwood handles are made from hard woods of Central America, similar to Hickory, and are used in many of our machetes and knives. Each sheath is handmade from welted leather for a great fit, and added durability.

Joe writes for a myriad of magazines and publications, and contributes regularly to the outdoor community, concentrating in woodcraft and primitive living. Joe holds a degree in Zoology with a minor in Entomology, and researches heavily into all things outdoors. Joe Flowers teaches fitness, martial arts, organizes youth camps, and hosts outdoor skills and survival classes around the US. Joe is an avid naturalist, hunter, fisherman, herpetologist, videographer, beekeeper, knife thrower, guide, and regularly travels internationally in search of knife knowledge and unique animals.
